One of the most highly esteemed women of Millvale passed away Thursday morning in the person of Mrs. Cuthbert STONEHOUSE of the age of 69 years. The deceased had been ill for the greater part of the past year and death came peacefully and quietly at the last. Her husband predeceased her some three years ago, but a family of five sons and two daughters being Mrs. Welsford JACKSON of Williamsdale and Mrs. Albert LOWTHER of Leicester. The sons are George of Westchester, Alex at Millvale, Douglas and Chisholm at home and E. J. STONEHOUSE of Amherst. The funeral was held Saturday afternoon. A large circle of friends will sympathize with the family in their very great bereavement.
