Phoebe (Purton) Stowe was born in Peckham, Surrey, England.

Phoebe Eleanor Purton was born on 2 Feb 1884 in Peckham, Surrey, England to Charles Purton and Emily Jane Carley.^[1] She was baptised on 13 Apr 1884 at Christ Church in Camberwell, Surrey.^[2]

She lived with her parents in Peckham and Camberwell until her marriage.^{[3] [4]}

Phoebe married Harold Stowe on 15 Apr 1906 at Saint Chrysostom church in Peckham.^{[5] [6]} They had seven children.

Unfortunately, they cannot be located on any England Census at this time.

They were living in Peckham, Camberwell in 1921.^[7]

Phoebe Ellen Stowe died on 10 Mar 1973 in the district of Camberwell.^[8] She was buried on 19 Mar 1973 in Southwark, London.^[9]
