Cyrus Prater/Prather is a mystery and brick wall. Owens,Jett,Pointer,Branson all on my mother's side. Riemann on my father's side. I am not brand new at this, but neither am I a pro by any stretch. Since my retirement, I am trying to find things---often end up down a fruitless rabbit hole. This is fun and more of a hobby for me.

PS I noticed you uploaded a GEDCOM. Here's a link to a great step-by-step of the process including screenshots that you might find helpful.

The help pages give lots of information about the process, best to start with 'Before you import a GEDCOM'. ~Michele~
