Biography

Marie Louise Rachal was born to Pierre Rachal and Marie Anne Benoist on 27 July 1737 and baptized the next day.[1]

She married Pierre Noel Gallien on 8 January 1752 in Natchitoches, Louisiana.[2]

Their known children:

  1. Marie Catherine Gallien Anty (1760)
  2. Infant (b/d 1762)[3]
  3. Nicolas Gallien (1763)

Pierre Noel died c.1763.

She married her second husband, Alexis Cloutier, on 2 March 1767 in Pointe Coupee, Louisiana.[4]

Their known children:

  1. Louis Joseph (Rachal) Cloutier (1765) baptized with surname Rachal, acknowledged at parents' marriage.[5]
  2. Helene Cloutier (1767)[6] She wed Ambroise Lecomte[7]
  3. Alexis Cloutier (1769)[8]
  4. Julienne Cloutier (c.1773)[9]
  5. Jean Pierre Cloutier (1775)

Her husband Alexis died before 1783.

She married Pierre Charpentier on 30 May 1785.[10]

Any children of this marriage are so far unknown.

Her death information is unknown except that it occurred after her marriage of 30 May 1785.
