Mrs. Ethel Florence Altman, 53, wife of Arthur M. Altman, died May 14, 1957, at her home in Kittanning RD5. She was born April 6, 1904, at Shelocta, a daughter of Ernest and Alice (Cravener) Raymer. She formerly resided at Elderton and McKeesport, before residing for the past four years at Kittanning RD5. She was a member of Kittanning United Presbyterian Church. Surviving are her husband, Arthur M. Altman, two daughters, Mrs. Genevieve Story of Kittanning RD3 and Miss Meredith Altman at home, a son, Harold Altman of Ford City, five brothers, Leason Raymer of Shelocta, Murray Raymer of Shelocta, Reynold Raymer of Indiana and Blair Raymer of Apollo; four sisters, Mrs. Margaret Watterson of Indiana RD2, Mrs. Mae Kimmel of Shelocta, Mrs. Cleo Miller of Spring Church and Rhoda Raymer of Elgin, Ill. Also surviving are six grandchildren. ......Burial will take place at Lawn Haven Memorial Cemetery.^[2]
