Note How can Samuel Spooner Manning born in 1782 at Derbyshire, England, be the son of Isabella Jane Ramsay, when she married James Manning in 1792 at Windsor, New South Wales, Australia.?

D Wong on 13th January, 2016 wrote: Isabella was born Carlisle, Cumberland,England. She married Trooper James Manning in 1792, but was living with Robert Forrester (Scarborough 1788) by 1794.

1805/06 Muster: recorded as a housekeeper, living with Robert oster/Forrester.
1806: recorded as a concubine - 8 natural children, 4 boys and 4 girls.
1814 muster: apparently separated from her husband Robert and living at Wilberforce with her second daughter Mrs Margaret Ridge, although other conclusions are that she died shortly after the 1806 flood from which she was rescued after standing neck deep in water with her baby (also Isabella Jane Forrester) for some time.

I removed Samuel Spooner Manning from this profile as it was causing too many problems and obviously he could not have been a child of Isabella Jane Ramsay and James Manning. Hope this is OK with everyone. Joan
