Heber married Gertrude Stanley in 1887.[1]
They had two children, Reginald Arthur, b. 1890 and Gertrude Frances (1891-1891).
The sad news of the death at an early hour yesterday morning of Mr R. Heber Ramsay of this city came as a surprise and shock to his many friends. He had been ill for about 10 days with an attack of pneumonia. Deceased was in the 50th year of his age. Just a year and four months ago his wife predeceased him.
Some years ago he conducted a dry goods business in this City but latterly he was on the road as representative in Eastern Canada for a number of well known firms.
Survived by Theophilus of Summerside, John out West, Mrs. (Rev) William Archibald of Stewiacke and Miss Eliza Ramsay of Montreal, and one son Reggie
