Loren Rauch was born on August 30, 1888 in Concord, Erie, New York. He was the son of Martin Rauch and Mary Baker.
In 1910, Loren lived with his parents and younger sisters, Edna and Bertha. His father was a dairy farmer. Loren, age 21, worked as a laborer on a driving team. [1]
Loren married Mabel Fowler and they had four children - Anna Marie, Robert, Ruth and Loren, Jr., who was born after his father's death in 1929.
On June 5, 1917, Loren registered for the United States World War I military draft. He was a married, self-employed farmer in East Concord, Erie, New York. He was described as of medium height and build with dark hair and blue eyes. [2]
Loren died on February 7, 1929 of pneumonia and was buried in Sibley Cemetery, Concord, Erie, New York. [3][4]
