Research Note

FindAGrave states the birth of Roderick Rawlins was 21 Apr 1796, but examination of the grave marker shows no birth or death dates.^[1] He is buried in the Joseph Rawlins' plot of the cemetery. Joseph Rawlins' (likely his nephew) grave marker has Joseph's date of birth plainly inscribed as 21 Apr 1796.^[2] In an interview during his life, Joseph Rawlins acknowledged his date of birth at 21 Apr 1796.^[3]
