Thomas, the third of thirteen children of John Rayner and Anne Rand was born on 10 November 1740 at Charlestown, Massachusetts.[1]
Marriage and Children
Thomas married Abigail Stone (1746-1792), the daughter of Jacob and Jemima (Miller) Stone on 10 November 1763 at Charlestown, Massachusetts.[2] They had nine children:

Thomas moved the family from Charlestown to Reading (aka Redding) about 1776.
Death
Thomas Rayner died on 17 October 1804 in his 64th year at Wakefield, and is buried in Old Burying Ground at Wakefield, Middlesex, Massachusetts.[10]

He, Thomas2, was the son of John and Anne (Rand) Rayner, of Charlestown, and was born there in 1740. He kept a public house for many years, and from the habit of keeping a bar, acquired a fondness for its dispensations that influenced his latter days. When Rev. Mr.
Emerson was about being settled as minister of the first parish, he was violently opposed to it, and boldly expressed " the hope that he should
never live to see that day." His hope was realized ; he died Oct. 17, 1804, aged 64, a few days before Mr. Emerson's installation.
