Biography

The daughter of Jesse Recor and Minerva (Penfield) Recor, Nancy Recor was born in Berlin Township, Connecticut in 1821.^{[citation needed]} She married Shelden Hills (1815-1886), the son of Elias Hills and Sally Curtis, marrying in Berlin Township^[1] on May 6, 1845.^[2] She passed away in Plainville Township, Connecticut at the age of 28^[3][4] and is buried at West Cemetery in Plainville.^[5] Her husband later married Nancy E. Clark.
