Alex Reeve, 78, who has been critically ill for some time at the home of a neice, Mrs Frank Brewer, here, died at 12:45 o'clock Friday afternoon. Funeral services will be conducted from the local M. P. Church at 10 o'clock Monday morning with the Rev. Clyde Haven of Muncie and the Rev. C. O. Johnson of the local church in charge. The following children survive: Mrs. E. M. Johnson of Dunkirk, Mrs. Wilber Overman of Cambridge, Kan.; Mrs. Ben Reeve of Nelson, Neb.; Mrs. Ed Jeffries of Kansas City, Mo.; Oren Reeve of Clevor, Mo., and Mrs. Zay Vermillion of Mankato, Kan. Burial will be made at the I. O. O. F. Cemetery at Matthews

"Funeral services for Mrs. Lura Thompson, aged 80, who died at her home near Jamesville, Mo., Monday morning, were held on Tuesday in the home at 2 p.m., conducted by Rev. Harding of Nixa, with burial in the Highlandville cemetery under the direction of Wilburn Maples Funeral Home of Clever, Mo. She is survived by five children, Mrs. Maude Verrhillion of Kansas, Mrs. W.E. Overman of Cambridge, Kan., Mrs. E.M. Johnson of Mill Grove, Ind., Mr. Ben Reeve of Grand Island, Neb., and Mr. Orin Reeve of Clever."

Benjamin Clark Reeve, 76, died Sunday afternoon in the Soldiers and Sailors Home at Grand Island following a long illness. He was a native of Indiana. A veteran of the Spanish-American War, he had lived in the Grand Island home for about 23 years.
Funeral and burial services are being held tomorrow (Friday) afternoon at the Soldiers Home.
Survivors include his wife, Lillie, of Nelson; five sons, Otto of Mitchell, Clyde of Nelson, Denny of Hastings, Dean of Nelson, and Orin of Superior; three daughters, Mrs. Blanch Nelson, Dorris, Calif., Mrs. Elva Jane Nash, Richland, and Mrs. Mary Disney, Superior; a brother, Orin, of Colorado; and a sister, Mrs. Florence Overman of Mankato, Kan. A fourth daughter died in infancy.
