Ann was probably born about 1750. She was a daughter of Robert Rennolds and Ann Miller.
She was married and had children prior to her second marriage to Reuben Chapman, per the will of her father dated 8th December 1780 in Essex County, Virginia. Robert Reynolds bequeathed four enslaved individuals to his daughter Ann, and after her death to be equally divided between the children from her prior marriage. Reynolds also stipulate his son-in-law Reuben Chapman was to have the use of these slaves during his life. He named their son Robert Chapman, bequeathing a fifth slave to him, and indicating he did not yet have siblings of the whole blood.
Ann passed away about 1815.
