Son of Richard Beale Reynolds [Convict "Atlantic" 1791] and Sarah Elizabeth (Stirling) Reynolds [Convict "Britannia" 1798]
Husband of Mary Reynolds and Elizabeth Eupham Reynolds - Seymour
Father of Jane Reynolds; Thomas Orlando Reynolds and Henrietta Matilda Reynolds
Brother of Thomas Reynolds; William Sterling Reynolds; Hannah Beale Gosper; Catherine Yeomans - Underwood; James Reynolds; Elizabeth Reynolds; George Reynolds; Sarah Matilda Reynolds; Archibald Reynolds and Jane Reynolds
In 1833 Elizabeth and Richard became estranged. In newspaper advertisements of the time Richard advised the public that:[3]
CAUTION.
I HEREBY Caution the Publie not to give Trust or Credit to my Wife, ELIZABETH REYNOLDS, as I will not from this date be responsible for any debts she may contract ; having left my house without just cause or provocation.
RICHARD REYNOLDS JUN
Wilberforce, 18th March, 1833
Elizabeth later joined with George Seymour and had at least 4 further children with him. When she died in 1853 her last name was still recorded as 'Reynolds'.
Around 1836 it is understood that Richard had another child, Jane Reynolds, with Mary Stewart, although there is no evidence that Richard and Mary married. Mary was reportedly born in Yorkshire, England, around 1804, and died in 1852.[4] There are no primary sources in support of the daughter being that of Richard (for example, relative death and/ or marriage records etc.)
He passed away in 1890[5][6] and his memorial stands in Rookwood Cemetery.[7]

↑ However, there is no relative birth or baptismal record via NSW Births Deaths and Marriages (BDM) for Thomas. The source for his profile seems to have been the Australian Royalty website but that only cites a secondary source (A Register of pioneer families, volume 1. Croydon: The 1788-1820 Pioneer Association, 1989). NSW BDM has the birth date for the next child, Henrietta, as November 1831, not November 1832 as shown by Australian Royalty and, assuming that to be correct, it is obviously impossible for Thomas to have been born to Richard and Elizabeth just 6 months earlier in May 1831. Sure-enough, May 1831 was when Thomas was christened, not the date he was born.
