ELIZABETH RICHARDS,^[1] bapt. 13 July 1818 at High Ham, daughter of JOSEPH RICHARDS and ELIZABETH TATCHELL. Immigrated to Queensland, Australia, 1855 on the CAMBODIA with children Joseph, John, George, Martha and Elizabeth. Mary Jane, Fanny, Ellen and William born in Queensland. ^[2]

• It should be noted that both John Sherrin and his wife Elizabeth Richards share the same 2nd great grandparents, both descending from William Richards and Susanna Sherrin.

• The paternal line is confirmed following further matches to the shared ancestral couple of Benjamin Richards and Elizabeth Coggan.^[4] In terms of walking back this segment, it has been considered in the context of DNA inheritance for Veronica Williams. However there is still a possibility that further back the segment could have originated from either William Richards and Susanna Sherrin.
