Biography
The daughter of Johann Ritter Sr and Magdalena (Brause) Ritter Sarah was born in Northampton County, Pennsylvania in 1801.[citation needed] She married Daniel Osman (1796-1860), the son of Robert Osman and Magdalena Newcomer, marrying in Pennsylvania around 1817.[citation needed] Their children included:
- David Osman (1819-1894)
- William Osman (1825-1909)
- Catherine Anna Osman (1828-1899)
- James Osman (1830-1887)
- Henry Osman (1831-1885)
- Benjamin Franklin Osman (1833-1875)
- George Osman (1840-1863)
- Jesse Osman (1841-1857)
- Emily Osman (1850-)
- Emma Clara (Osman) Umholtz (1857-1918)
They made their home in Harris Township, in Centre County, where her husband worked as a millwright.[1][2] She passed away in Centre County in 1875 and is buried at Spring Creek Presbyterian Cemetery in State College, Pennsylvania.[3]
