He succeeded to the estate of Britfieldstown, in County Cork, on the death in 1668 of his older half-brother, Francis Roberts, the heir of their father, Thomas.
On 6 June 1671 in County Cork, Randall Roberts married Hannah Bustead as his first wife.
Randall Roberts married secondly, Martha Hodder, widow of Lovegrove Willard, in 1691 in County Cork.[2] Sources support a marriage date of either 6 July 1691[3] or 12 July 1691.[4]
On 25 February 1707, Francis Hodder of Hoddersfield, father of Martha, granted his son-in-law Randall Roberts several lands including Bridgetown, County Cork by indentured deed.[5][6]
On 1 December 1710, Richard Meade leased lands including Castle Park to Randall Roberts of Bridgetown for 31 years from a date in 1712.[7]
Randall made his will on 14 April 1709 at Bridgetown, County Cork. He died on 20 October 1719, most likely in Bridgetown, and probate was granted on 19 February 1719 (the calendar year began in March).
Sir William Betham made an abstract of the will and probate record of Randall Roberts. The transcript reads:
Roberts, Randall of Bridgetown Co Cork, Esq. Dated 14 April 1709, P’d 19 Feb 1719; Eldest children -Thomas -Anne and Hannah; Sons Michael and John; Wife Martha; Brothers John Roberts and Francis Hodder Esq;[8]

Roberts-19547 and Roberts-10832 appear to represent the same person because: Randal Roberts was married twice: Firstly to Hannah Bustead/ Busteed: Thomas and Hannah Roberts are to this wife; He then married Martha Hodder: Hodder Roberts is from this marriage.
