James Howard Roberts was born in DeKalb, Tennessee^[1] on the 8th of May, 1908^[1][2] to John Roberts and Sarah Sandlin.

In 1910 he was living with his parents in princint 3 in Collin County, Texas^[3]

In 1920 he and his parents were living in Springfield, Robertson County, Tennessee^[4]

In 1930 he was living with his family was in Springfield, Robertson County, Tennessee^[5]

He died on the 3rd of June, 1978^[2] and would be buried in the Springfield Memorial Gardens in Springfield, Robertson County, Tennesse^[14]

SPRINGFIELD, Tenn - James Howard Roberts, 70, of Fern Avenue, Nashville, a retired brickmason, died Saturday in Metro General Hospital.

Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Associated Funeral Home here.

Burial will be in Robertson County Memorial Gardens. - Survivors include a son, James Roy Roberts, Cross Plains, Tenn.; a stepson, Billy Farris, Osceola, Ind.; five daughters, Mrs. Judy Kay Bunch. Springfield. Mrs. Fay Pitt, Milldale, Tenn., Mrs. Brenda Remera, Denver, Colo., Mrs. Jean- Osceola; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Thelma Law, Nashville; two sisters, Miss Sara Roberts, Mexico, and Miss Hettie Roberts, Nashville, and grandchildren.
