Biography

Reuben Robinson was born 18 Aug 1760 the son of Jabez Robinson and Tabitha Green of Falmouth, Massachusetts[1]

On January 7, 1789, Reuben Robinson married Hannah Scott, daughter of Moses of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia[2], and they had children, including:

  1. Hannah, born 1795 who married Robert MacKinnon (born 1791), son of John MacKinnon1st
  2. Elizabeth, who married james Parry, born 1796, son of Captain Robert Parry
  3. Reuben, born April 15, 1802 and died January 20, 1896 (see page 737 of the genealogy), who married Mary (Hemeon) Smith, daughter of Philip Hemeon and Mary Crocker, and widow of Obediah Smith and their children included
    1. Jane, who married Francis Cook son of Manasseh Cook on October 16, 1860, and then married Augustus Hilton, son of Job HIlton in September 1866
    2. Benjamin, who married Augusta Cook, daughter of John Cook on December 19, 1854
