Sarah (Rogers) Swain migrated from Georgia to Texas.

Sarah was born in 1794 to Reuben Rogers Sr and Temperance James. She had at least 13 siblings: John, Faith, Clary, Mary, Nancy, Phoebe, Temperance, Reuben Jr, Joseph, Rebecca, Abner, Collin and Asenath. Her birth is recorded in the Family Bible.

She married on 10 Dec 1818 in Warren County, Georgia, to Josiah Robert Swain, son of Job Swain and Susannah Smith. She was about 24 years old. They had at least 11 children together:

Sarah passed away between 1860 and 1870 in Texas (no further records found after 1860). She would have been 76 years old in 1870. It is not known where she is buried.
