Maria (Mary) Rohde was born September 11, 1880 in Germany. There she met and married John Suhr. They had their first child Annie in Germany in 1908.
John, Mary and Annie immigrated to America at the same time as the rest of the the HD Rohde Sr. family. They sailed from Cuxhaven arriving March 12, 1911 on the ship "President Lincoln". The Passenger Arrival List in New York, lists Mary (30), John (28), and 3 year old child "Anny".
