Looking for information/pictures from Joseph T Bumgardner family from Page County, VA. His daughter, Elizabeth Lizzy Frances was my grandmother.

Also looking for information from the Abraham Strickler family from Page County, VA. There are three Abraham Stricklers in this line. My great- grandmother, Elizabeth Strickler, married Solomon Rothgeb. She was the daughter of Abraham, Jr.,(1803-1867), who was the son of Abraham (1765-1835). We believe he was the son of Joseph Strickler(1731-1795) but Joseph's brother John also named a child Abraham. Therein lies the confusion. Joseph and John were the sons of Abraham Strickler (1670-1746) and Mary Ruffner (??).

Hi Ruth and thank you for upgrading, 😊

I am very pleased to welcome you to the WikiTree family, your contributions will go a long way to joining the world together.

It is best to start with the New Member How-To pages, they will save you a lot of time and frustration.

I am here to answer any question you have, no matter how trivial you may think it is. There is no such thing as a silly question. Please add as much information as you can, it all helps to turn a “name” back into a person. I hope you enjoy the site as much as I do.

Thank you for adding your DNA to WikiTree. Getting the Best from DNA will tell you more about how DNA kits are used on WikiTree.

Happy tree climbing
