Biography

This is a poorly sourced profile, I apologize. I can't find much record of John Satterfield Rush. He is mentioned among Jacob's "known children" in a biographical piece for his brother Samuel Rush. Other than that I'm relying on LDS family tree records. There are MANY potential John Rush records that fit, but unfortunately there's no way to tell them apart.

On the 1830 Census in Alabama we find Jacob Rush in a household made up of 1 male under age 5, 1 male age 20-30, and 1 female age 15020. In 1840 in Alabama, we find Jacob Rush with 1 male under 5, 1 male ages 5-10, 1 male ages 10-15, 1 female under age 5, and 1 female age 20-30.
