Biography

He was the son of John Ryves. His birth year is estimated from that of his younger brothers, There are trees online with a date of birth of 4th June 1557 but have been unable to verify this date^[1]

Sir John Ryves of Damory court was sheriff of Dorset in 1606. He was knighted 8th February 1606
