Biography
Frederick McLaney Sanders, the son of Joseph Matthias Sanders (abt.1812-1881) and Charlotte (Wilcox) Sanders (1814-1879), was born in Canada West (Ontario) on Aug. 1, 1858. From about 1880 until his death on April 1, 1930, he lived and farmed in Dereham Township, Oxford County, Ontario. He had at least one child, his son Fred Sanders Jr. of Tillsonburg, Ontario. Fred Sr. is buried in Tillsonburg Cemetery.
