Miriam was born in 1881. She was the daughter of William Saunders and Harriet Bould. She passed away in 1944.

New Zealand Herald 17th June 1925 p:12 [1] FARMER'S WIFE BANKRUPT - PROPERTY AT KOROMATUA (Hamilton) A petition in bankruptcy has been filed by Marion Harriet Willis, wife of Arthur Willis farmer, of Koromatua. There are no assets, the deficiency consisting of file difference between the amount of the mortgages and the estimated value of a farm property at Koromatua. A meeting of creditors will be held on June. 29.
