Biography

Jean Baptiste Savoie was born about 17 Mar 1712 in Annapolis Royal, Acadie, Nouvelle-France, son of Germain Savoie (~1682 - ) and Geneviève Babineau (~1693 - >1738).

Jean Baptiste married Marguerite Blanchard (1719 - ~1760) on 27 May 1737 in Port-Royal, Acadie. Their children were:

  1. Firmin Joseph Savoie (~1743 - 1797)
  2. Marie Savoie (~1745 - 1820)
  3. Jean Simon Savoie (~1747 - 1815)
  4. Marguerite Perpetue Savoie (~1753 - 1813).

Jean Baptiste died in 1761 in Miramichi, Acadie, Colony of Nova Scotia aged ~49.
