Biography

Paul Savoie was born about 1696. He was the son of Germain Savoie and Marie Brau. He was age 2 on the 1698 census of Port Royal.

Paul Savoye married Judith Michel, daughter of Jacques Michel and Catherine Comeau 23 November 1722 at Port Royal, Acadia. The bride and groom made their marks and Joseph Leblanc signed.[1][2]

Unlike his father and his brothers, who remained at Port-Royal, Paul and his family moved to Chepoudy probably in the 1720s.

He passed away before 11 July 1772.
