DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships.
It is likely that these
autosomal DNA
test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Mary:
Sawtell-237 and Sawtell-62 do not represent the same person because: two different people - different birth dates, different parents. one married Parker, the other married blanchard.
The only Mary Sawtell birth recorded in Groton MVR around that time frame is "Mary, d. Zachariah and Mary, Apr. 11, 1697". That would not match the age given on her headstone which should be closer to 1699. Obidiah and Hannah are certainly having children in that period and there is a notable gap in MVR for them (no children) between 1687 and 1701.
