Mary was born in 1890, the daughter of Wyman and Jeanette (Worrell) Sawyer. In 1913 she married Roy Clifton and they had eight children: Margaret, Lucille, Russell, Elizabeth, Leo, Donald, Doris, and Joyce Ann. She passed away in 1983.
