Biography

Hannah was a daughter of Thomas Sawyer and Marie/Mary (Prescott) Sawyer, born in Lancaster, Massachusetts.[1] Barlow did not find a record for her birth but the Ancestry.com OneWorldTree claimed she was born 24 November 1670.[2]

Hannah Sawyer was married to Joseph Blood, son of Nathaniel Blood and Anna/Hannah (Parker) Blood, daughter of Captain James Parker. Joseph Blood was born Feb. 3, 1681. (p. 387) Joseph married Hannah ___. (p. 388-9[3](p. 369) [4]

The marriage of Joseph Blood of Groton, Massachusetts, and Hanah Sayer, of Lancaster, Massachusetts, took place on Apr. 15, 1706 in Concord, Massachusetts. (p. 66) [5]

Hill-11959 S (Hill) Willson
The birthdate shown is also listed for her brother Nathaniel. Per the American Genealogist article, she died before 1739. Her husband, Joseph, was born in 1781 per the same article. Based on this and her marriage date in 1706, her birth year is more likely to be ~ 1785
