Biography

Johannes Schenck died young.

Johannes was baptized on 13 October 1689 in the Reformed Dutch Church of Kingston, New York, recorded as the child of Johannes Schenck and Magdelena Haes. No witnesses were recorded.[1]

He was their third child to be named Johannes. Like their earlier children of this name, he is presumed to have died young, before 30 April 1691, when his parents gave the name Johannes to another son.[2]

Research Notes

This profile showed his given name as Johannes Jansen, but the "Jansen" does not appear on his baptism record, and Jan was not his father's first name, so I am deleting that part. Smith-62120 03:42, 24 June 2023 (UTC)
