Biography
Dicey Hopkins was born March 11, 1811 in Tennessee.[1]
Siblings: Sarah Jane Leffingwell (born Scott), Martha Parkerson (born Scott), Levica Shelp (born Scott), Lavinia Hamilton (born Scott), Caroline Josephine Manor (born Scott), Josephus Scott, George Windfield Scott, Cyrus Scott, Abner Scott.
She married Abijah H Hopkins on June 26, 1827 in Vigo County, Indiana.[2]
Dicey married Claiborne Scoggins on August 20, 1860, in Travis Land District, Texas.[3]
Dicey passed away on August 4, 1992 at the age of 81, in Bastrop County, Texas and was buried in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Elgin, Bastrop County, Texas.[1]
