The headstone for the child says Mary I Scott, her birth record says Mary Elizabeth. The death record for Sarah Leflar gives cause of death as peritonitus 5 days after confinement and was related to childbirth.
No children are listed on the 1881-1911 censuses after his 12 April 1871 marriage to Sarah Dodds Hartsell.
He is living in Chinguacousy Township on the 1851 and 1861 censuses, however his place of birth is listed only as Canada.
