Biography

Ruth was named as "Ruth Roers" a married daughter in her father's will dated 17 May 1732.^[1]

She [Ruth Scudder] was born about 1704 according to one record and died March 2, 1786 according to the same record. Her grave stone in the Old Cemetery gives the date of her death as March 2, 1780 in the 82nd year of her age. This would make her birth in 1698 five years before her husband."1 p. 7
