Biography
Mary Ann was born in 1827.
She married Magnus Manson of Takaka. She had married him some 21 years when in 1866 she requested that the resident magistrate bound him over to keep the peace due to her husband's threats on her life and their children's lives.[1]
Mary Ann Manson was part owner with her sisters, Sarah Boggis and Caroline Eves in her father's property in the Hutt Valley, Wellington. They sold this property in 1903.[2]
She died on 5 April 1911 aged 83 at Motupipi.[3]
