OBITUARY - Timothy E. Sexton - Worked at Erie Bolt Corp. for 21 years. Timothy E. Sexton, 75, 6620 Knoyle Road, Greene Township, died Monday, May 24, 2004, at his home. He was born Dec. 3, 1928, in Indiana, PA., son of the late Timothy F. and Sarah Mock Sexton. He had lived most of his life in the Erie area. Retiring in 1989 after 21 years, he was a foreman for Erie Bolt Corp. He formerly worked for Bucyrus Erie, Modern Tool Co., and High Pressure Co. He was a member of the Harborcreek Baptist Church. He also was a member of the National Rifle Association and enjoyed nature and outdoor activities, especially hunting. He was preceded in death by a son, Terry G. Sexton; a daughter, Patricia R. Hunt; a grandson, Brian Hunt; four brothers; and four sisters. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Charlotte Wise Sexton; three daughters, Vickie Morrison and her husband, Elmer, and Lisa Nelson and her husband, Michael, all of Erie, and Pamela Brunner and her husband, Anthony, of Waterford; a brother, Wendel J. Sexton of Vintondale; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home, 2926 Pine Avenue handled the arrangements with Rev. Donald L. Roach of Harborcreek Baptist Church officiating. Burial in Wales Cemetery.
