Biography

Daniel was born in 1799. He was the son of John Shahan and Anne Ormsbee. He passed away in 1863.^[1] Brief Life History of Daniel - When Daniel Shahan was born on 1 January 1799, in South Carolina, United States, his father, John Shahan, was 44 and his mother, Anne Ormsbee, was 36. He married Martha Patsy Hussong on 10 August 1820, in Blount, Tennessee, United States. They were the parents of at least 8 sons and 4 daughters. He lived in Roane, Tennessee, United States in 1850 and Bond, Illinois, United States in 1860. He died in 1880, in Lewis, Tennessee, United States, at the age of 81.
