Biography

Patrick Shanahan died young.

Patrick was the first child of Terence Shanahan and Jane Kennedy. He was born 11 March 1851 and baptized five days later in Saint-Raymond, in modern-day Québec. His godparents were John Delaney and Catherine Love.^[1]

Along with his parents, Patrick was listed on the 1851 Census of Canada for Saint-Raymond.^[2]

Patrick was four-and-a-half years old when he died 13 December 1855. He was buried two days later in St-Raymond.^[3]
