Biography

Christopher died after 1483-5, "William Norry Knt sued him in Chancery."^{[citation needed]}

On the "Feet of Fines for Essex", 1482, #153, page 81: Mich. Christopher Sharp, Robert Sharp, Thomas Cotton and John Fabyan, pl. John Gryme and Margery his wife def. 1 messuage and 15 acres of land in Stanstede; uxta Halstede. Def. quitchaimed to pl. and the heirs of Christopher. Warrenty as in 85. Cons. 40 marks.^[1]

Research Notes

According to Rosie Bevan (2020) in her article: "Sharp Practice: An Expose of The Sharpe Pedigree from the 1558 Visitation of Essex",^[2] there is reasonable doubt that Christopher wasn't the son of John Sharpe and Jane Saunton.
