Biography
Arthur Sholl was born on 10 August 1858 in Western Australia, the son of Mary Ann Sholl and Robert John Sholl.[1]
He was station manager in Ashburton and Pilbara districts for his brothers R. F. and H.W.
- The death is announced this morning of Mr. Arthur Sholl, brother of Messrs R. F. Sholl and H. Sholl, members of the Leglisative Assembly and Mr. R. A. Sholl, Postmaster General. The de-ceased gentleman had been ailing for some time, having contacted that dreaded malady— consumption He was a resident of Roobourne where he was engaged in pastoral pursuits, and was widely respected. Much sympathy is felt for the bereaved family, amongst members of the Legislature, and their numerous friends in the city.[2]
