Biography

Catharina Siegfried was born on November 14, 1719 in Oley, Berks, Province of Pennsylvania, daughter of Johannes Siegfried (~1695–1747) and Elizabeth Seves (1697–1767).[1]

Catharina married Johannes Friederich Romig (born on April 24, 1713 in Ittlingen, Heilbronn, Baden-Württemberg, Germany). Their daughter was Magdalena Romig (1750–1820).

Catharina (18) married Johann Friederich Romig (23) (born about April 4, 1714 in Ittlingen, Heilbronn, Heiliges Römisches Reich; son of Johann Adam Romig and Agnes Margaretha (Bernhardt) Romich) on December 25, 1737 in Macungie Township, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. Their children were:

Catharina died on September 28, 1793 in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, United States, aged 73. She was buried in Gods Acre Cemetery [no stone], Emmaus, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.[1]

Married Frederick Romig. (Moravian Church records, Emmnus, PA) "On 14 Nov. 1719, a daughter Catherine was born to Mennonites Johannes Siegfried and his wife Elizabeth). (Landholders of PhiladelphiaCounty,1734, Maxataway District) John Sigfreet.
