Pearl was born in 1896 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama. Pearl is the child of Thomas Simmons and Elizabeth Hall. She was living with her parents in Red Ridge, Tallapoosa County, Alabama in 1900.

Pearl was married to B. B. Moody in Tallapoosa County, Alabama in 1910. Pearl died in 1959 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama.

the attached siblings are not correct. Thomas and Elizabeth were not married until 1891.
