Skiff-117 and Skiffe-3 appear to represent the same person because: Same parents; same spouses; Use birth of 117 (sourced); use death of 3 (sourced). Target should be Skiff-117 as that is the spelling used in the cited birth record.

Skiffe-38 and Skiffe-3 appear to represent the same person because: places and wife are the same, dates are different, but, no sources to prove dates, they are estimates

Actually, I am not convinced Nathaniel and Nathan are the same man. I'm keeping them unmerged matches until we confirm that they are indeed the same man.

For Nathan Skiff, born 1658, I have it as May 16th. He is the son of James Skiff and Nathan's wife is Hepsibah Codman. They have 8 children.

I show that Hepsibah died in 1698 and Nathan married Mercy Chipman in 1699. Nathan and Mercy had five children. Nathan and Hepsibah (Codman)Skiff are my ancestors through their son James, grandson James and g grandson Prince Skiff. Prince Skiff served in the American Revolutionary War as did his four brothers.
