Mary Ann was the daughter of Houston Jasper Skinner and Sarah Clarissa Moore. She is buried in New Salem Cemetery, New Salem, Rusk County, Texas.
Her death certificate has place of birth as Alabama; however, all census records show Georgia. The informant for death may not have known correct birthplace.
