NOTE: There is a problem with the 1901 Census. Abraham's surname appears as Spinner (an error by the Library and Archives Canada staff in transcription). The rest of the family appear on page 9 at the bottom of the page.

The Newmarket Era reports on June 27, 1902 in an article titled "Newmarket High School" that "In the promotions examination at the High School all pupils but one passed into the second form. The following students obtained Honor Standing: Ruby Skinner, M. Tench, Helen Robertson, and Wilbert Cody."

The Newmarket Era reports on April 4, 1904 in the Social Column for Franklin that "Robt. Brooks and lady friend visited Miss Edna and Miss Ruby Skinner on Sunday."

Warren and Ruby were married at the home of the bride on 31 Oct 1907. The event was covered in the Newmarket Era on November 8, 1907. The information is as follows:

Ruby gave birth to William Leslie (Les) Graves 18 Aug 1912 in Drytown, Whitchurch, York, Ontario Canada.

She passed away in 1916. Family stories recount that she suffered from appendicitis and passed away when the physician attempted surgery at the farm.

The following appeared in the Newmarket Era on January 21, 1916: "The husband and family of the late Mrs. Warren Graves desire to express their sincere thanks to those who were so kind and helpful during her illness and death."

Buried in Newmarket Cemetery, Newmarket, York, Ontario, Canada (plot D9.1 West).
