Peter word op 1 Desember 1698 skuldig bevind daaraan dat hy handel gedryf het met die Hottentotte 'over de Berg'. Hy word gevonnis tot 'n geseling en verbanning uit die Kaap. Daar is ook op sy eiendom beslag gelê; en dit is per publieke veiling verkoop. Sy is 'n tweede keer getroud in Stellenbosch op 4 Januarie 1705 met Jacob Potje. Jacob Potje is afkomstig van Moscroon of Moescroen, Vlaandere, België;. Hy werk in 1702 as kneg by Izak Schrjver. Hy is 'n tweede keer getroud in Stellenbosch op 15 April 1714 met Anna Lowisz. [3]

Corrections were received from Delia Robertson and Alwyn Smit and Corney Keller had now completely revised and amended the original transcript (February 2012).
