Biography

Birth

William was born about 1787 in Shirburn, Oxfordshire.

Marriage

William Smith of the parish of Shirburn and Susanna Archer of the parish of Thame were married after banns at St Mary the Virgin, Thame, Oxfordshire on 13th December 1813.[1] William signed his own name on the register whilst Susanna could only make her mark with a cross. The witnesses to the marriage were Jane Griffin and Thomas Boyles.

Smith-97652 and Smith-70221 appear to represent the same person because: While I'm not able to see the details on Smith-97652 at the moment due to the privacy setting, I was able to get to this from clicking "compare fathers" on Jane Smith wife of Herbert Saunders, so I strongly suspect these are the same William. Once Smith-97652's opened it should be clearer.
