Biography
He had moved from Georgia to Dale, Alabama by 1830; he appears on the census there from 1830-1860.
His first wife is unknown. They had several children. In 1853, he married Martha Ann Mozingo. They had a daughter, Chloe (Cloey) Ann Snell in 1859.
He is buried at the Poplar Spring Cemetery in Houston, Alabama.
