Henry Snodden was born in 1822 in County Down, Ireland to Alexander Snodden and Mary Scott.[3]

He arrived in Australia on the "Wilson" on January 7, 1842.[3]

Henry married Emily Lockyer in 1851 at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Yass.[4]

He passed away in 1881 in Tumut.[5]
